On the Internet, there are many articles about dating advice, including what to do if you are dating a Slavic woman. But whose advice should you listen to? We’ll find out the answer today.
Whose advice shouldn’t you listen to?
I’ve seen many relationships ruined by people with different opinions, i.e., when a couple has an issue that they need to deal with, people around them all give their opinions, telling the guy and/or the woman what to do. But sadly, that’s the fast-track to relationship failure. For instance, when Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley were married, they had an argument about Michael Jackson’s medication at the end of 1995. At that time, there were too many people telling Michael Jackson what he should do; meanwhile, there were also too many people telling Lisa Marie Presley what she should do. As a result, they got divorced at the beginning of 1996. Indeed, high-profile celebrities have lots of employees/assistants around them – these people are keen to share their opinions, but those opinions aren’t necessarily helpful.
My friend Kevin isn’t a celebrity. When he was dating his first girlfriend, he was in his 20s, so his parents told him what to do all the time. That relationship only lasted for six months. He was tremendously sad. Honestly, his parents didn’t really have the knowledge and skills to teach him anything about dating and relationships because what could work a few decades ago wouldn’t apply to Kevin’s situation – it’s a different era and the culture has changed as well.
Basically, you shouldn’t listen to advice from people who don’t know what they are doing and/or who don’t genuinely care about you. Your family and friends genuinely care about you, but do they truly know what they are doing/what they are talking about?

Seeking the right advice:
The good news is Slavic women are very honest, so they usually wouldn’t cause problems in relationships.
But romantic relationships aren’t perfect. If you do need to deal with an issue in your relationship, please seek the right advice. For example, you can consult with a counsellor, a therapist or a psychologist. Please don’t tell everyone around you about your problem and wait for their opinions to add more stress to your relationship.
