In modern-day society, looking for love isn’t a straightforward process because it always involves various dating situations that may or may not work out in the end. If you are going through the ending of a dating situation, please refer to this blog post whenever you need to! We hope you enjoy our safer dating advice on this blog.

  • After she ended the interaction….

I was in a dating situation with a woman that I met earlier this year,” says Jye, “In the end, she told me that she doesn’t have feelings for me and she is in a very busy period of time in her life. I feel so rejected.”

Jye is going through the heartbreak of ending a dating situation. She rejected him, so he is very sad.

My advice for Jye is to have a longer perspective: After he retires/when he is 65 years old, he can look back on what he has done. And he will realize that the rejection is actually a positive thing because it means he definitely tried his best. He wouldn’t regret that experience. He would only regret what happened if he didn’t even try.

  • If she doesn’t choose you, she is not the right person for you.

Remember: the right person must adore you. If someone doesn’t choose you, that means she is not the right person. End of story.

“The fact that she doesn’t have feelings for you should a major turn-off,” I explain it to Jye, “The right woman has to understand your value and like you.”

Jye reads our safer dating blog frequently, so he understands what I said immediately. I’m glad that he is ready to move on and start the new chapter of his love life now.

Indeed, no matter what we do, there will be some risk of rejection. That can be a romantic relationship, a job, a business, a speech, etc. All of these involve some sort of potential rejection. But rejection shouldn’t keep you awake at night. The only thing that should keep you awake at night is not trying.

I’m proud of Jye because he is always trying his best in all areas of his life. 😊
