The power of being faithful in international dating

As a man in a relationship, you would be well-advised to remain faithful to your lady because loyalty is very powerful in international dating.

Why you can’t be distracted:

Let me start this topic with a true story. When I was in my early 30s, I was a concession manager in a premium department store in which the brands that I ran were competing with other brands. So, I wrote a message for my team:

It’s perfectly okay to have a normal and brief conversation with other brands’ staff members. Sometimes another brand’s staff member wants to have a short conversation with me, and I have to speak to them because I need them to print our signage for us / find a signage frame for us / serve our customers when we are in the toilet or the basement. However, I never have long conversations with other brands’ staff members because I don’t have time for that. My focus is always our sales and our tasks. If you tell me that you chat with other brands’ staff members all day every day because you need to build a good relationship with them so that they will help us, you are simply giving me an excuse. Other brands’ staff members already know that the only way to build a good relationship with us is to help us with our work. Also, if you find chatting with other brands’ staff members for fun is more important than making sales or doing tasks, you would be well-advised to find another job because clearly, this job isn’t very important to you. When something is important to you, you will focus on it. I know chatting with other brands’ staff member is quite tempting, but this is not a social event. Please have some self-discipline.

You may wonder why other brands’ staff members are constantly chatting with each other. The raw truth is the most successful company on this floor is a much bigger corporation in which employees can hide in the background, whereas our company is a smaller organization and nobody can hide in the background! Now if you envy their staff members, I highly encourage you to apply for a job in their organization, but unfortunately, their regular “training” is some watered-down material & many people in the industry and outside the industry have told me that that big organization doesn’t have customer service! In other words, you hone your skills better and learn much more when you are a concession staff member in our company.

A word about mystery shoppers: Mystery shoppers come here regularly and frequently. Last month, we received the very first 100% satisfaction feedback from a mystery shopper – that was the first one in our history, so we are very happy with that. Nonetheless, previously, mystery shoppers have discovered two main issues: 1) our staff members are looking at cell phones at work; 2) our staff members are chatting with other brands’ staff members. Although it’s important to build a good relationship with other brands’ staff members, our priority is our sales and our tasks. If you look at the number of tasks that we need to do every single day, you will know that we don’t really have time to chat with anyone. We are either proactively looking for customers / closing sales or doing tasks. Speaking of looking for customers, here is the uncomfortable truth: You have either excuses or results. It’s normal to make a limited amount of revenue a day very occasionally, but that can’t be your standard revenue because it’s the staff member’s responsibility to generate leads in a concession store, which means “no customer = no sale” might be an excuse as a real salesperson in a department store can find customers in aisles nearby, outside various fitting rooms, near the escalator and in other areas, keep customers interested, prevent/identify objections, overcome objections and close the sale quickly. You know what, I want other brands’ staff members to chat with each other all day every day so that we can convert their customers to our brands when they are not even paying attention!

How this theory applies to international dating:

In a relationship, you would be well-advised to focus on your partner. You can’t be distracted. If you have wandering eyes, you are not paying full attention to the most important person in your life. Law of Reciprocity is always real: You can only get what you give in love and in life, which means when you don’t give your partner your full attention, you can’t receive what you should get in your love life.

Therefore, please be faithful to your partner at all times!
