Ukrainian women are well-known for their elegance, radiance and good manners. Because many readers have asked me how Ukrainian ladies maintain their radiance, I’m going to share with you how these elegant women approach health and wellbeing today.

  • Overeating is gluttony.

According to most Ukrainian ladies, overeating is gluttony on any level. Gluttony is treating your body like a rubbish bin, which is something that you shouldn’t do.

Respect for their own bodies is very natural to women from Ukraine. Basically, that includes good habits of daily shower & shampoo, clean clothes and very well-organized closets, extremely clean nails, amazing grooming as well as single portions of food at almost every meal.

In fact, the majority of ladies from Ukraine don’t need to think of these habits because they grew up with reasonably small food portion which is a part of their etiquette. That’s why this is so automatic and natural! A lot of women in Ukraine are used to this habit, so they wouldn’t take more than one single serving.

Well, if you go to Ukraine, you will probably notice that Ukrainian people’s breakfast tend to be wonderful: eggs, meats, breads, cereals, fruits, spreads, coffee, tea and juices. An elegant lady in Ukraine takes a single serving of foods that she likes and merely a small single serving of every food item because she doesn’t think beyond that.

This habit has helped many ladies in Ukraine with weight loss and/or weight maintenance. Therefore, it’s considered as a positive habit that can benefit humanity.

  • Many people in Ukraine believe that fine food & drink are best enjoyed in moderation.

My best friend Vicky is a woman in Ukraine. She eats a full single serving of food choices that she likes and a glass of juice when it’s served. Thoroughly savoring every sip and every bite, she needs no more than that. She strongly believes that consuming more than necessary dulls the palate and is uncomfortable physically.

In terms of favorite foods, Vicky likes morning tea with clotted cream on a delicious cranberry scone, fresh grapes and a cup of hot chamomile tea. As to afternoon tea, Vicky likes picnics with chilled potato salad and fried chicken. Of course, the portions are chosen automatically.

  • It’s very important to live a structured life.

A famous psychologist from the United States claims that unemployment is just like a mental illness because when someone is unemployed, this person doesn’t live a structured life – consequently, the lack of structure in life causes mental issues. Similarly, not having a relationship is also like a mental illness: if someone has a job but doesn’t have a relationship to go back to after work, that also causes lack of structure in this person’s life, hence the mental issue.

I know that sounds a bit extreme/absolute, but it makes sense to me. At least the part regarding the importance of having a structured life makes complete sense.

Almost every Ukrainian person that I know relies on the effectiveness of structure as well as schedules for pretty much all daily activities of their lives, for structure as well as schedules are helpful tools for living a satisfying and productive life.

Vicky achieves that by organizing time for enough sleep, time for meals, time for exercise, time for interests and hobbies, time for catching up with friends, time for holidays, time for work, time for family, time for artistic expression, and so on. As there are only 24 hours per day, scheduling every activity is a great way to make sure that everything gets done and in the best manner possible.

Ukrainian women’s schedules aren’t harsh at all. Those are built into easy and natural habits casually. They don’t even think twice about implementing these habits. Indeed, simple schedules create a wonderful life.

“Diet, exercise and sleep are the three pillars of a healthy lifestyle.”
